Sole F80 Treadmill - 2014

Sole F80 Review

SOLE F80Sole treadmills offer the best value in all categories where they compete. This statement has been written a few years ago, during our review on the previous F80 model. The same can be applied to the new F80, a model for 2013/2014.

A big difference compared to the previous model is a more powerful motor, a wider running surface, an increased weight limit and many more new features, which we will discuss below.

A new strong motor delivers 3.5 horsepower of force. It lets you do jogging or running with a maximum speed of 12 mph. The motor also controls the incline levels, allowing you to incline the deck up to 15% with a touch of a button, to get a more challenging workout by simulating uphill running. The walking area is extra wide, measuring 22 x 60 inches.

A frame of the Sole F80 can be folded for easy storage. It features the Easy Assist Folding deck design that makes unfolding your treadmill all too easy (see the video below). The frame, deck and motor are backed by lifetime warranty.

All these features coupled with large 2.75-inch high-end rollers, cushion flex suspension system that reduces impact up to 40% as compared to running on asphalt, and double woven 2-ply tread belts make this treadmill a perfect choice for both, beginners and more serious runners.

The Sole F80 comes with a 7.5-inch blue balcklit display built into the console. A larger screen you'll find only in the more expensive F85 treadmill by Sole. The information that is displayed at all times include time, speed, incline, distance traveled, calories burned, pulse and pace. There is also a 1/4 mile track feature and a Peak and Valley graph for different programs. The console is iPod/MP3 compatible. It allows you to plug in your device to the treadmill's audio system which contains two integrated speakers. There are also a pair of cooling fans, bottle holders, a book holder and multiple shelves and compartments for storage. You can monitor your heart rate through pulse sensors built into the hand grips or by using a wireless chest strap which also comes with the treadmill. It communicates directly with the computer console adjusting the speed when you use one of two heart rate programs. Other programs that come with pre-installed software include six standard and two custom programs.

Where to Buy Sole F80 at best price?

Although one may think the official website is the best place to buy Sole Fitness treadmill, in recent time we recevied a few reports about their bad (slow) support, from our readers. Fortunately, the Sole Fitness equipment is available through Amazon, as well. There you'll find better deals compared to the other online retailers.
