simple and cheap treadmill for light occasional use. It is a short
description of Weslo Cadence G-40. Here is the treadmill review,
so you can decide if it is the right machine for your needs.
Except a price below $ 300 there are not many specificities that
will attract your attention to this machine. If you you buy Weslo
Cadence G-40, you will get an ordinary low-budget treadmill, with
all neccessary features plus a little bit more. At first sight,
you have an impression that the manufacturer had no ambition to
make a crazy machine for running, but a machine for beginners,
which will be used several times a week. If it will be used daily
for serious running, it just wouldn't last long. In that case
it is better option to buy
Weslo Cadence G 5.9 or another brand produced by the same
company but more durable and with extended warranty. Good alternatives
may be: Reebok
or Proform tradmills,
or some more expensive treadmills by Nordictrack
or HealthRider.
The 2.25 HP Impulse motor of the Weslo G40 is adequate only for
people under 250 ponds. Its treadbelt is not designed for taller
people, as well. With 16” x 50” there is no enough space
for anything other than walking.
