Evolve SG is one of the smallest treadmills in the Horizon product
range. Its unique, compact folding option has been designed for
all of those that don't have room for a large piece of fitness
equipment. Surprisingly, with a folded height of just 10-inches
the Evolve SG compact can be stored quickly and easily under beds
or couches!
And this is its main asset. Other features, like treadbelt size
is not so impressive. With 17 x 45 inches it is large enough only
for lite using (walking and light jogging). Like many other budget
treadmills, it is not for serious runners (even the maximum speed
of only 6 mph shows the same). Therefore, the intention of machine's
producer was to meet the needs of the average user who uses the
treadmill only occasionally, and all the rest of the time it stands
under the bed.
The Evolve SG compact treadmill is equipped with a quiet 1.5
CHP motor that is backed by a comprehensive 5-year warranty. It
is not so strong motor such you can find on bigger models, but
it is good enough for this type of fitness equipment.
It comes with a simple console, offering 2 programs to help you
add variety to your routine. Heart rate pulse sensor comes as
standard option.
All in all, if you plan to use your machine no more than a few
times a week for walking or light jogging, and you do not have
room for it except under the bed, this is the perfect solution
for you. Otherwise, for approximately the same amount of money
you can buy a stronger and bigger treadmill offered by the same
